Welcome to the East Ohio Street Improvement Project
Website. Anyone who drives PA 28 between the Interstate
279/Interstate 579 and Millvale interchanges knows that congestion is a major problem. This
Website will show the
improvements under study to upgrade PA 28 between those two points.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in conjunction with the
Michael Baker Corporation has devised the alternatives listed on the left.
The current PA 28 alignment northbound near Saint Nicholas
Church.
