Pittsburgh, the "City of Champions," "City of Bridges," "Steel City," during the heyday of the steel industry, the "Smoky City," and once again the "Most Livable City" is one of the more interesting places in terms of highways. For example, in the metropolitan area, belt routes take the place of limited-access beltways; and there are three two-lane, limited-access highways limited to buses only. However, there were to be other expressways aside from the ones you see on maps of Pittsburgh, which are explored here.
